SCDAPro x FilmHedge - Motel

This is scene 72 of the project "SCADPro x FilmHedge". I served as a technical artist and 3D artist there. I primarily created various materials and tools for the team, and assisted with lighting tasks.

Detail

Tile Floor Material
This material allows artists to edit the scale of each tile, and customize the stain (including scale, offset, color, opacity, etc) on the floor.

Tile Floor Material Node
Adjusting the opacity and base color of the stain texture is accomplished by combining the dirt texture map and base color map with a lerp node; the function of adjusting UV scale and offset can be created by texcoord node.

Vertex Painting Tool

Parameter of vertex painting
Scratches on the concrete wall in different color areas can be modified in size and position, and the color can be changed as well. Also, the edges of the connection between areas can be adjusted from blurred to clear.

Vertex Painting Material
This material is archived by blending two different material; one is for the base material and other one is for the painting part.

Scratches Fix
I fixed the uv project issue by using world align texture node, so the team member can use it for the complex railings when the uv is not works well.
